Family Safety Built Into Windows 8

As the new year begins, I’m getting a lot of questions about safety, particularly when it comes to kids and the internet. New computers were purchased over the holidays thanks to the desire for the latest gadget and the great bargains to be had. With the leak of news of the NSA watching over us last year and the increase in internet theft activity, a lot of parents are concerned over what their children have access to and how long they are actually on the internet.

There are various options made by third parties, but Microsoft has some features built in that are designed for parents to set up and monitor their child’s activity. It’s a special feature called Family Safety!
