PC Matic MSP Addresses Ransomware and RDP Threats with Two New Products
It should come as no surprise and managed service providers (MSPs) have had a growing target on their backs. Ransomware Lifeline
Ransomware Lifeline offers PC Matic’s globally automated whitelist, which takes an alternative approach to traditional whitelisting. What does this mean? Whitelisting has had a bad wrap. It’s considered time-consuming to deploy and difficult to manage for IT staff. The whitelisting technology used within Ransomware Lifeline takes an alternative approach. Meaning, it is managed by PC Matic’s professional malware research team, removing the burden from IT staff. Additionally, individualized onboarding support is available creating little interference to productivity.

RDP Lifeline
PC Matic MSP’s RDP Lifeline manages the risk of malicious attacks executing through the remote desktop protocol (RDP) ports with the use of comprehensive RDP reporting and management tools. These tools include the ability to schedule open RDP sessions networkwide as well as specific to certain devices, enable and disable RDP sessions, and log remote session activities. RDP Lifeline also uses device authentication when granting remote access. This security feature ensures only authorized parties are gaining access to company networks.
