Fulton County, Georgia Hit by Ransomware

Fulton County, Georgia officials confirmed that a ransomware attack caused significant disruptions to their systems in late January.

The LockBit ransomware operation claimed responsibility and alleged to have stolen internal documents. Most phone lines, water bills, and property tax payment systems remain inoperable two weeks later. Chairman Robb Pitts stated that systems will be restored gradually.
