Paint.NET is an open-source photo editing application. Its features include unlimited undo, special effects, and a wide variety of useful and powerful tools.
Originally intended as a free replacement for Windows Microsoft Paint program, it has now blossomed into a powerful, but easy to use, photo and image editor tool. It has come full circle now competing with the best digital photo editing software packages such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel Paint Shop Pro, Microsoft Photo Editor, and The GIMP.
