Feature Addition – Sleep Settings

The PC Matic Development team has made another addition to the Action feature set to improve device control. Sleep Settings is available from the Action menu for each device and allows you to enable or disable sleep on a device.

From each Device’s page, you can access the Sleep Settings section. The goal with Sleep Settings is to allow you to force a device to remain awake to keep a live connection. When devices enter sleep mode they lose network connection and thus, connection to our cloud console. If you need a device to remain online for a period of time or for the ability to access it remotely later, you can disable sleep on that device.

Disable Sleep Setting – Override the current Windows sleep settings to keep the device awake and connected.

Enable Sleep Setting – Use the current Windows sleep settings.

Stop Responding to Threats.
Prevent Them.
