Windows 8 is a much more powerful Operating System than it is given credit for. While on the surface it may seem like users have lost a lot of functionality from their beloved Windows 7, power users need not fear as Windows 8 can still be tweaked to your satisfaction. These Windows 8 Power User tips will help you make the most out of your Windows 8 Operating System.

#1 Windows 8 GodMode

A Windows 8 power user will appreciate the implementation of Godmode. GodMode has been available in other versions of Windows, but it seems even more useful in Windows 8, where users struggle to find menus in a Start menu-less environment. You can place a Godmode shortcut on your Desktop and avoid having to search endlessly through tiles and apps to do the things you need to do.

First, create a new folder on your Desktop by right-clicking the desktop and selecting New>Folder and then rename it to: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

The folder will change its icon and then be opened to reveal a multitude of menus that can be expanded and collapsed depending on how often you use them.
