The topic of cyber security has never been hotter.  Between the Panama Papers hack, which was deemed the largest hack in history, to the growing threat of ransomware, keeping consumer data safe has never been more important.

  4. Employ SSL encryption
  5. Make sure your ecommerce platform is PCI DSS compliant
  6. Utilize Web Application Firewalls (WAFs)
  7. Require employees to change their passwords every 60-90 days
  8. Use multi-factor authentication
  9. Make sure you are updating and patching all of your applications
  10. Back up your data daily
