5/9/2018 12:17:01 PM New laptop as of April 2018 that came with McAfee trial period that ran out today. I had intended to switch to PCMATIC because it not only performs much better, but also does not cause periodic crashes because of harmfull changes to registry data as does McAfee software. Although PCMATIC is very difficult to get voice telephone support, I have found PCMATIC software and email support to work quite well. Thus I'm an Evergreen client who trust PCMATIC to maintain optimum performance.

9/22/2023 7:27:33 PM I have an existing, but expiring, antivirus software that is still installed but will expire next Monday, 9/25/23 It is a Kapersky product. I was hoping, if possible to install PC Matic now, but maybe I should first have Kapersky shut down or even removed first. This laptop usually runs ok for my use, as I'm retired now, it seems like my current Kapersky antivirus software was conflicting w/the PC Matic when trying to install it.
