2/24/2021 5:28:56 PM it has 'buttons' next to the toughpad. Keyboardis very good, for a laptop. It has an EZ to access 'Sleep' button. This Compqq has worked well for 13 years. Too bad Microsoft is killing it.

1/5/2010 8:27:44 PM It has started to run a little slower than what it did when I first bought it. Also, it does freeze up, but after a minute or a few, it'll come out of it. Hopefully this will help!

1/4/2012 7:10:46 AM This computer has been great. It was my mothers, heavy smoking, letting it get to hot, hours upon hours a day, and it was still running like a champ(mother, on the other hand, didn't fare so well). Well enough that I gave it to a friend of mine. Nice move ,huh. Problematic ever since. I got this Vista to load, but it apparantly hasn't been driver updated yet. I like pc matic so I thought, I would try it, once I got a wireless adapter attached. That is one of the missind drivers.

3/26/2010 4:18:13 PM When I first purchased the computer in April 2008 I had problems getting online with Internet Explorer sometimes. The webpage would just say shutting down and whatever page I was on, the Internet Explorer shut down and brought up the home page again..sometimes several boxes back to back. I would generally shut down the computer and restart it. Soon the problem stabilized but I realized the battery started dying on me for no reason. Even when attached to the AC adapter cord it would just shut down. I ran a diagnostics and found the battery needed to be replaced. I had a virus on the computer approx Sept Oct 2009 which wiped all the memory cleaned. It has since been restored to factory settings and a brand new battery has been purchased, but again I am experiencing the computer shutting down while attached to the cord or not. Particularly when I'm listening to music via windows media player or online on youtube or a movie site. Thanks. Shantrell Humphrey

12/25/2009 4:34:40 PM When I bought this computer, it was Windows XP Media Version. I have had to send it back to HP 2 tismes. When I got it back the last time, they had loaded Vista in it. Then it failed again and they did not want to send me the Vista restore disk. I had the Windows XP, but because they had loaded Vista without my OK, I could not use the XP disks. Now the hard drive is bad, but they say its out of warrenty. It has never worked for a whole year. HP said when I sent my computer in, they sent me any computer that they had ready to go. So now I have a computer they sent me with a bad hard drive. I have 3 HP printers, and 3 HP computers, but I will never buy anything from HP.
