The Dell XPS M1330 base configuration features the Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 2MB Cache/2.0GHz/800Mhz FSB, 160GB HDD and 2GB RAM. This high-end laptop also has a 13-inch LED-backlit display screen, slot-loading DVD drive, touch-sensitive media buttons and HDMI-output jack. The base configuration includes Modem, Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, two USB 2.0 ports, a mini-FireWire, and a multiformat memory card reader. At less than four pounds, it's one of the lightest 13-inch laptops. One noted drawback in the M1330's design is the tiny, 2.75-inch touchpad.

Both have had issues with the slot load cd/dvd player but this one more so - insert a cd and it never loads and you can't get it to eject it without restarting the computer and hitting eject as quickly as you can when it starts rebooting. Always have had issues dropping wireless connection and now it not only drops it but disables the hardware by itself. Keys get 'sticky' or slow from time to time. Hasn't been my best Dell purchase. Our Toshiba laptops have held up much better.
