9/29/2015 6:10:16 PM It does not have any of the problems with staying online as Window's 8.1 and 10. They both go to airplane mode and you can not just turn wireless adapter back on it will not let me. This is like the ole reliable workhorse.

3/10/2018 2:15:00 PM This PC is several years old, but it has served reliably in a medium-duty environment. Lately it has had some malaise (slow to unresponsive) that generally is temporarily fixed with a restart and maybe running sfc (although sfc has not found any problems to date).

11/15/2016 4:17:49 PM The programs/software were recently modified during an unfortunate scam operation that I stupidly fell for. The perpitrators stole $2000 and then wiped out the computer. Fortunately, today, when I was "over it" enough to turn it back on and check the damage, the computer auto-retrieved some of my programs on startup; and (WOW!!!) PC Matic found and re-installed some more. I think I can retrieve/reinstall what I am still lacking. My fear is that there is that the scammers buried a malware/virus that will give them access to my information sometime in the future. The police advised me to destroy this computer; but I decided to install PC Matic and give you a chance. I am trusting that your program will "keep the bad guys away." I've learned my security lession, but am open to further specific advice re the possibility of hidden program(s) which might cause trouble later. Is this fixable? Should I destroy this computer, as advised?
