2/10/2010 6:34:05 PM I think it runs slow because we use a Hughes.net satellite dish in the mountains -- and everyone said that the staellite dish would be slower than Time Warner Cable fastest speed.... however, I don't know much about computers......

5/7/2014 1:22:23 PM Computer slows down and locks up during the simplest of commands. For example, it would take 10-15 seconds for the right-click window to appear. Loading pages or programs could take minutes at times. PCMatic has cleared that all up now.

6/16/2009 7:36:37 PM Currently, the computer only runs in Safe Mode. In normal mode, Vista loads normally but no files can be opened and the network fails. Attempting to open a program locks the computer and forces shut down. The computer also does not shut down once in normal mode -- a continuous "logging off" is shown with no movement to close.

I seem to run PC Matic more than I use the darn thing! But I have been told by my partner it's because the machine has very little memory capacity. It is however, adequate for my needs, but if I did need to use it more than just browsing & checking e-mails I would be very annoyed with it.

Where do I find access to those controls? It also takes a VERY LONG time to boot up or to switch to alternate user.

11/16/2010 3:20:48 AM I backed up all my files on Drive D and made a mistake doing that. I don't know how to get them off. I had already deleted the recycle bin. Now it said to fix Drive D, I need to delete everything in the recycle bin, and there is no files to delete, for I already deleted the recycle bin. I thought if I had you to scan it, you would be able to fix it. you were not able to do that for some reason. I just don't know what to do. Thanks anyway. I guess I will hsve to call Dell.
