9/21/2012 3:41:29 PM had a rootkit virus get in despite MSE running...it detects it and after some weeks stopped bluescreening when logged into a certain account, but cannot clean it off completely. ...even offline fails. Figured I try PcMatic to see how well it does...

11/14/2012 1:51:19 PM all my computer have the same problem , get loaded up with left over bits, no way to remove left over book making from abode program. dont have a printer so why does it keep making copies for a printer aplication. such a waste of space.

12/18/2015 9:04:43 AM Boots and closes slowy.Purchesed from original owner, she had much junk loaded.I purchased PCMatic a year ago, ran scan, many problems, ran program to fic, then ran scan again, no change in recorded faults, canceled and ask ror efund.Original purchase date below is an estimate.I took te computer a year ago.

8/2/2011 2:45:48 PM This acer pc is starting to do the same thing that my older toshiba pc did. It will sometimes lock up and make a loud horrible noise from the speakers. The first time it happened, I picked up the pc and set it down and it stopped making the noise. Now when it happens, I have to unplug the pc and remove the battery. When my toshiba died, I took it to a pc store and was told that a usb port was damaged and had shorted out the mother board and the cost would be $800 to have a new one installed. Since the acers were on sale, I bought 3 of them instead of fixing the toshiba. The tech at the pc store was able to download most of the toshiba's harddrive onto disks but not all so I've lost important info. I am worried that this acer will do the same thing.

6/20/2012 9:57:19 PM backup program that came with the Acer is not computer friendly. I have tried to download the MS version fpr windows 7. for some reason I am not able to get it. I am a beta tester for MS. I have been in contact with MS and asked why. It could be that my ops may not allow me to install it at this point until I make a program ajustment in the Acer version of Windows.

4/11/2012 7:01:00 PM system services have to be reset, turned on manually. I did a msconfig turned on all services, saved but they not all start. also IE email does not always connect to a link in an email.
