9/14/2014 8:01:15 PM An application called "Fix Speedy" has appeared in this system and self launches at boot up and then recurs about every five minutes while the computer is on and Windows is running. It does not respond to actions in the Control Panel when I attempt to remove it from the system. It comes up and overlays what ever task I have going and requires that I close it down from the dash board of "Fix Speedy". When I close it, a splash window comes up and informs me that "Fis Speedy" is in the process of scaning my computer and asks if I want to abort this proces. I answer "yes" and it comes back with a message that "Fis Speedy" is still running in the background and then leaves the screen back the app I had running when it first showed up. Five minutes or so later it comes back and interrupts me again. There is another problem with my internet interface with an unknown and unwanted URL on my opening page of "Internet Explorer". It is characterized by the name "trovi" which shows up in the initial page "go to" window. I originally identified Google as my opening home page and hove tried to switch to Bing with no change in operation. I have not visited or have no idea where this URL comes from.
