11/7/2009 8:14:23 PM original operating system was vista - computer power supply shorted out during storm. Tech who rplaced power supply reformatted drive assuming I had backup but did not. I completely reformatted drive and installed an OEM version of Windows XP. I had to find and install most all of the drivers but was unable to find the codecs necessary to play Windows Player or Realplayer --- downloaded VLC player and Mplayerc the latter works reasonably well
