7/19/2020 3:14:40 PM This computer has been great with minor problems over the years. I have experienced more after Microsoft stopped supporting Windows VISTA and XP. However, I have some programs I own which have valuable data and material on them on this computer I can no longer buy and they won't work on the updated operating versions above Windows 7. I tried 7 but didn't like it and had some problems with a few of those programs when trying to run 7. I can't afford to lose these programs and the material they contain. It will take hours and days to ocnvert this over to newer machines which are more vulnerable to hacks, attacks, and the stealing of my material. I need a great program to protect them where I can access my material and I saw in your ads where PC Matic serves and protects these operating system computers. This machine has been excellent and I want to keep it in use. I have been hacked multiple times over the years through internet providers and weak firewalls and lost access to other machines, but I was able to keep this computer protected from invasion. I had external back-ups, but if you can't get the computers to boot up, you can't use the back-ups and when I tried the external back-up drives were corrupted and locked down. It created petitions on the other hard drives and the saved data is locked on the other side of the petition and can't be accessed or the computers used. I can reload the master disk, but it will create a petition and a new version of the operating system on the internal hard drive and I won't be able to get back to the old data. I hate there are no real "boot disks" for Windows XP and VISTA computers. I have tried several listed on the internet only to find them useless and creating other problems on those computers. Please help me save and keep this computer safe. I do have to access the internet with this computer and I use Mozilla Firefox (don't trust Explorer or Google). Thanks

When I printing something it would start printing and stop at a 1/4 to 1/2 of page of printing and stop. Then it would not print at all. So I deleted the printer program and tried to reload but it would not.

So I quit creating email and forward or answer others email's ..would like this problem fixed as I paid for an extended warranty but do not like calling DELL as you keep me on the phone for at leat 2 hrs. everytime and the last time all you wanted to do was to sell me this PC Tune up which I purchased but you never fixed my problem. 9/29/2009 1:50:41 PM This is a Dell Inspiron 531 that was trouble from the start. Dell kept trying to analyze and repair it by phone/email until the warrenty expired. Then they just stopped helping at all. I requested a replacement computer because I felt this one was defective, but they had no interest in making me satisfied.

I made some changes in security settings for stricter ad blocking, dump unneeded files at each use, & leave off computer until I decide to use it. Worked better doing this.

I have had to reformatt the hard drive TWICE !!! The machine is very inconsistant and unstable. DELL continued to jerk me around until the warrenty was up and now want me to pay for "Tech support". This was the FIRST computer I purchased brand new. WHAT A LET DOWN !!!!
