6/21/2011 12:53:21 PM I removed some trojans with Malwarebytes, and it changed the registry, which made it impossible to open any programs. Rescanned the computer after I found the exe files and still came up clean, but the computer isnt useable for my programs.

They are all the same. 1) Offer free scan and imply fix all issues 2) Scan finds 1000's of issues 3) Malware request fix 10 items for free or $29.95 to fix 10000's of issues. This is fraud and I wish I could report something like this to authorities when it occurs.

Sorry for the Caps, lock was on--didn't mean to yell. I do wish the sales people knew a little more about what they were selling though. Sometimes the "right hand doesn't know what the left is talling about". And I have a feeling that I spent a lot more $$ than I really needed to.

12/9/2009 7:48:52 PM The biggest problem with my computer is me. When I have a problem I can't figure out I have to go to the pros. Eventually it gets fixed, but usually with more than 1 "pros" online visit (and charge$$) and when I get my controls back It's like a different machine with lost software, lost decoders, "home" page all changed etc.

Another is that when I sign off the internet, it always gives me an error message and wants to contact Microsoft, but if I say yes, it says I'm not connected. Some applications don't recognize that I am connected to the Internet.

But there have been some minor issues, such as: this hard drive is the 3rd HD this computer has needed since purchase. Also, running in SAFE MODE now due to the fact that it was taking forever to access the DESKTOP after login. Computer came with 1MB of RAM & have never upgraded so suspect that may be the issue now.

11/22/2009 6:28:01 PM Installed CA Security Suite 2010 and CA Mobile Lifeline and now screen locks overnight or after prolonged inactivity and cannot acces computer upon mouse move -- need to reboot. The screen lock feature on Mobile Lifeline is disabled.

4/9/2011 10:21:18 PM Problems since i upgraded to vista. won't start up without the Windows Vista disk in the cd drive on many occassions. Have to unplug the external hard drive so pc will start up. usually have to turn off and restart several times after an update.
