11/1/2010 12:40:45 AM Needs to be reformated, but I forgot how and can't afford to have someone do it, so I put up with it's irritations. It has been a great computer with very few problems! I'd reccomend a Dell anytime and plan to get a new on as soon as the budget allows!

I HAVE A CABLE CONNECTION THAT PROVIDES ME WITH UP TO 13 MBPS DOWNLOAD AND UP TO 9900 KBPS UPLOAD. ACCORDING TO MY PC PITSTOP OPTIMIZE 3.0 (I THINK THIS IS THE RIGHT INFO). I VISITED THE SITE TODAY DUE TO A SIGNIFICANT DROP IN MY CONNECTION SPEED. NOT KNOWING IF IT WAS MY PROVIDER HAVING PERFORMANCE ISSUES OR MY COMP. THANKS.

I am not able to put McAffee I run internet through comcast and they provide the full suite for free) due to supposedly not enough memory. I ran it before the crash, but now I see that even though I have the required memory (it shows 71% free space) but only small amounts of memory. During the "re-do" I accidently added two names to the original "sign-on, but deleted it during an attempt to fix it. The last time I shut down the computer, it seems to take much longer to come back on than it did before I deleted the other name. I'm lost!

5/21/2009 5:47:11 AM Perhaps its because of newer software versions, but programs that used to run smoothly don't seem to be any more. A lot of videos are jerky, which could be because the players are more bloated, or my latest antivirus is a pig (sbamsvc.exe). The computer has been great, I was pushing the envelope with it doing video editing with Pinnacle v9, am scared to use a higher version.

I am trying to find out if it is worth putting in a 2nd hard drive and moving all my Documents files to it and deleting them from drive C:, but I don't know if this would slow down or make it difficult to access the new hard drive or if I can make it the default for Documents.

4/26/2016 4:54:13 PM This computer is old. Bought it around 2003. But it is only used for home use, so, I think that it could still be a good machine. The main problem I hane with this computer is that it is very slow with downloads and loading links from a web site.
