2/20/2018 12:51:03 PM 2 weeks ago I had to reset the PC and reinstall all software after a Windows 10 update. A few days ago another update cost me $180 on this PC and another $80 on my wife's PC when I couldn't use the mouse or keyboard after the update. Geek Squad wanted to install Webroot, but I stuck with PC Matic. However, I am concerned that these problems happened while I was "protected" by PCMatic. I can't afford to pay like that ($260) just to keep my protected PC's running.

3/19/2018 12:24:39 PM I was satisfied until a couple of months ago when my computer wouldn't start. I was unable to reboot in safe mode and I was unable to restore it even though I had a recent backup (within 1 week). This all happened without any warnings (prior freezings or running slow etc.). I had no choice but to take my computer to Geek Squad and pay them to wipe my computer and start all over. When I asked them what caused the issue, they said it was likely due to a Windows update and there was nothing I could have done to prevent it. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. I know that PC Matic didn't do anything to prevent it (I don't know if it could have). Either way, I'm frustrated to have to spend the time/money to fix something that shouldn't have happened especially when I back up my computer reguarly and run a software such as PC Matic to keep my computer in good health.

11/18/2017 12:16:02 PM Windows update disabled pc pitstop a while back and the boot record was destroyed even disabling restore functions. We are starting again from scratch but love your product.

10/9/2020 9:48:42 AM The AOL email system is rather difficult to load, since the computer was "fixed" a year ago. Previously, I had Microsoft Express, which is no longer available, but was efficient. Occasionally, the computer modem crashes due to certain websites or videos. Also, there is one website that I need, but always gives an error message -over 4 years now. That is probably due to the Frontier modem being incomptible with that website. Finally, the keyboard is often not fully responsive when I am typing an e-mail.
