I've made several upgrades to this laptop HHD,RAM, two new batteries,operating system software and other soft-ware crucial to my attending and aiming to meet course requirements as a online student.So I'm very happy with my laptop,it was given to me by a deseased relative so the sentimental value is irreplacable!!!!

4/7/2011 9:46:32 PM It has been faithful even though it's old. It sat idle for about a year after I bought a new one, which crashed permanently as soon as the warranty ran out, but this one was still working. It's slow, thought.

8/18/2012 9:55:19 AM I will have to get more information about this computer from the original owner. I was given this computer 8/14/12. I don't know how old this computer is. It would hardly even boot up when I got it. Now it is usable again. I have even been able to run skype. However it would freeze up as far as the vidow. Will try it again and will let you know. So now the computer doesn't require all the reboots now.

7/10/2013 6:46:31 PM The Compac Presario 2200 that I have has gotten so slow.It boots up,but does not run very fast online.Recently I loaded Google Chrome as my default browser over Explore.Shockwave flash fails to load,and causes pages unresponsive to appear.It's a visous cycle while online.Off line the computer works very well.
