8/9/2010 9:11:12 PM up until the past few months it has been perfect. the hard drive is o 160 Gigs and 1 mb mem so since it is a laptop, and we have a desktop with a large hard drive we haven't needed to update this laptop. The tv and media cednter work well in it. We pad 2500 for it

9/7/2010 2:16:58 AM I understand that I may need a new computer. But I rely on this 2007 model a lot and will have to wait till the i3, i5, or i7 model HP computers drop. Until then, I use if for work and home use. I like my computer, as it has been very reliable thru the years.

I'm now reinstalling the PC Matic software now. I really only heve your product on only four computers and not five. I should still have onr available. Please correct our record files. THANKS! 1/1/2010 6:39:43 AM When I got this computer it was so increadibly fast I couldn't believe it and the very high scores I got from PC Pitstop proved it. Now I think I got a virus or malware and that I can't seem to get rid of. Now it's not the same fast computer it used to be.

7/28/2010 7:21:01 AM Vista is constantly freezing up. Sometimes it never returns (the little circle just spins away) and I have to force a shut down. Then whatever it was that froze it usually works again. I have a newer laptop with Windows 7 on it... much, much better.

3/3/2011 10:26:14 PM I liked this pc when I first got it. Yet I've found over time that the computer's internal fan had the tendency to overheat, causing me to have to get a USB cooling pad. This is my second HP pavilion that I've run into this with, third among friends/family. I hope they improve these with the newer models.

HP techs walked me through the same useless troubleshooting time after time and i finally gave up. Also, if Vista is a step up from XP, it should be improved rather than more troublesome. Last, i got the computer for movies and such while on military deployment...but it always runs hot.

6/16/2010 2:43:30 PM HP Pavillion dv9205us Notebook running Vista Home Premium on an AMD Turion 64 x2 Processor. It is slow as hell, takes forever to boot. If I cannot upgrade the processor, memory, and O/S back to WinXP, I'm tossing it.

7/13/2012 9:32:09 AM Keeps saying it needs to shut down to install programs. Then it does not shut down completely. The hard drive just spins. You have to take the battery out to shut it down.

11/4/2012 1:34:53 AM when I reboot, the network driver disconnect. I have to go to device manager in control panel and uninstall the network card. then go to bios and change the boot order to hard drive. I have to do this 3 times and restart. the computer is soooooso slow.

7/28/2011 4:04:52 PM Something is in control of this computer until I restart it. Internet Exlorer is giving me trouble. Java is not working. Virus programs are not get virus or malware and they say there are no viruses when I know they are their taking over the computer. Nothing seems to find the problems! Java giving me problems and I can't remove the Office 2003, the computer will not allow it. Error message! Things are really wrong! I need help please! Cathy

7/19/2010 8:17:40 PM I hate PC's. Buying a PC is like throwing money away. Endless repairs, virus after virus, even with protection software that costs hundereds! NOTHING will make PC's better unless they can duplicate what Apple has done. Macintosh is the only computer that I have ever used that works the way a computer should, I think if everyone could try out a Mac just once, PC's would be non-existent.
