After installation of some programs the computer will prompt for a restart, but the computer will not come back online after a restart, the computer has to be turned off then turned back on. Restart does not seem to work any more.

10/12/2010 6:28:08 PM I really like it. It can do almost as much as my desktop. Far more than I expected. When I bought it I thought it would be an expensive game and email machine. But I've discovered areas that I had no idea would be on here and am not sure my desktop has. I'm handicapped and really needed to take rest breaks from the desktop. Having this laptop makes it easier for me physically. I use it almost exclusively.

3/2/2014 10:14:24 AM start up error messages/ began since updating itunes and computer crashed during update and now cannot get itunes to work ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling still dont work all cause of this update rang apple them selves but they wanted 179 pound to help which is ridiculous when it there programme what caused i guess what happend during the update it deleted files to be replaced by the new ones but the ones didnt get writ in cause of the crash now i get error messages during start up of such such failed to run.

7/7/2011 6:19:12 PM This computer runs very slowly. A bootup is especially slow. Firefox, Word, Excel, etc are forever "not responding." I bought this HP laptop July 2009. Often I have to restart to get out of hangups. It does not freeze. I run high speed Internet using Time Warner and my husband's Sony laptop is not slow or "not responding" on the internet.
