1/4/2013 10:31:56 AM I bought this used from Craigs List with broken LCD screen and additional problems. Once I got it up and running found out it had been "STOLEN". I actually found old owners info on hard drive and contacted him, YES HE WAS BLOWN A WAY!! The old owner asked what I had to pay for it, with replacement LCD I had $350.00 and I was going to wipe clean and install new OS. I was told since he had already got new Dell and to keep this one but wipe it clean which I did and even called him to tell him that. I have had this Dell E6400 now for 3 1/2 years now. Beware of Craigs List.

When running Adobe Photoshop CS4 it sometimes starts getting really bogged down and starts running very slow or sometimes stops completely until I reboot the computer. I just figured out how to clean out my temporary files folder and I think that running software to clean up my registry will significantly help it run faster and better.

3/4/2015 1:45:29 AM The computer was a "returned from lease" computer that was supposedly refurbished and loaded with Windows v 7. I subsequently loaded Windows v 8.1 and am just now teaching myself clowd computing. Windows v8.1 threw out all my software and made me re-load it. I don't have much of an idea of how it runs, compared to how it's SUPPOSED to run!

12/25/2020 12:32:07 PM My typical work pattern is to have many windows open concurrently: Opera browser - 2 windows and more than a dozen tabs; Excel - 4 to 6 worksheets open, one of which maybe open in 2 or 3 windows looking at different tabs; Word - 1 or 2 documents open; Outlook - open. With this PC, opening a new tab in Opera can be slow (indeed, I occasionally get the message "out of memory." Task switch, from say Opera to Excel can be verrrrry slow.
