12/20/2009 7:47:22 PM just tried to update to Win7 a couple days ago but ran into several driver and hardware issues and ended up starting over and reinstalling WinXP Pro on formatted disk. The motherboard was installed in about 2002 or 2003 and has worked from Win98 to Win2k to WinXP. Pair of new 120GB hard drives last year or so. Maxed out at 1GB RAM. System had become very slow over time; I am working on reinstalling all software and I hope this clean install of WinXP Pro will clear things up for a while.

12/5/2009 1:49:09 PM I have had problems with my ATI driver updates and something happened in a window update that disabled my hard drives (which I have not known how to fix). I also lost my sound and have not been able to correct it. Thanks for your help! Bill Mills
