7/31/2010 12:12:43 PM I bought this model of toshiba at office depot. At office depot, they have a 14 day return policy. Initially, when the computer was purchased it worked fine, but ONE day after the return policy had ended I started having problems with the hardware on the computer like the mousepad. That should have been my first warining. I was eventually able to persuade the store to at least exchange the laptop. The new laptop initially did not give me any problems. One year later in 2009, I started having problems with the A/C adapter. In order for the power cord to work and stay connected, I had to manipulate its position. After that, everything went downhill! The computer started shutting off randomly in the middle of whatever I was doing. I would lose anything that I was working on whenever this happened. Now on top of this problem, I can no longer boot my computer normally. Whenever I try to, it gives me an error message that I can never fully finish reading before it shuts off, but in a nutshell it says that the computer is shutting off to prevent my computer from being harmed. I can only use my computer if I boot it in safe mode with networking and it sucks because the range of what I can actually do with my computer is limited due to the drivers that are available in safe mode.
