I don't do anything sophisticated with the computer; running videos from the 'net is the most strenuous thing it does.

6/5/2009 11:22:00 PM I bought a mid range celeron at the time. It has served me well. I am not a gamer or have a high video demand. That being said, its time for this one to go. I will probably replace it with a dual core which should meet my light computeing needs.

5/8/2009 6:26:19 AM I have been very satisfied with this computer. It needed a preplacement monitor when first purchased and one fix during the first warranty period. It needed another fix during the extended warranty period. But for the last three years it has run perfectly until now when it is running very slowly. It has two RUNDll errors which are missing c:\WINDOWS\xtijimelumo.dll and oveutewot.dll, both just recently. I dowloaded IE 8 yesterday and the computer wouldn't run at all until I uninstalled it. When I need a new computer I will buy from Dell again.

MY NORTAN ANTIVIRES WAS RUNING OUT i TRYED TO INSTALL TOTAL DEFENCE. WELL IT SCANED IT AND i HAD 50 VIRESES TROJEN AND TRACKING COOKES. I REBOOTED AND IT MEMERY DUMPED EVERY THING. I PUT THIS HARD DRIVE IN ITS BIGER AND NEWR IN A WEEK ILL PUT 2GIG RAM OR 4GIG AND SLAVE A NEW HARD DRIVE

When the CA scanning program is working or programs are updating, it is nearly impossible to use any other programs or work on the computer. I do not want to have to choose between my updates and scans and my work! This computer often has problems shutting down. It lists error reports and does not shut down.

We are satisfied with our Dell computers and very satisfied with Customer Service. I have 1GB Memory on order for this PC (awaiting delivery at this time). I beleive the added memory will greatly improve all functions I routinely use.

Only upgrades have been a secondary HD about a year after purchase and 2GB of RAM cannibalized out of another dead machine sometime last year. I have a P4 CPU to install as well, the Celeron chip has always been weak - though it does get the job done for what I use it for.

7/26/2011 11:41:08 PM when I boot up the light stays lit and the computer grinds away but I'm not going anywhere. After an hour the light goes out and it works fine. Then at night it gets hungup again and have to al/control/delete again. Oh when I downloaded pcmatic it went fine untill i went to run the program. The screen with the little gears came up and said its loading but then an error popped up and says....File:default.htm? version=1311738115156 line1734 error 'REG'is null or not an object. And then the little gears just keep turning and nothing happens. so i have to use alt/control/delete to stop the process. GOT MY SERVERS RIGHT AND IT'S BEEN PRETTY GOOD SINCE. A LITTLE SLOW BUT JUST ADDED MORE MEMORY.

1/10/2010 2:19:14 AM some games that use java like popit on pogo.com get reall choppy fusterationg dont know if this helps but the time on java is not choppy example- I catapolt some timed bombs to my enimies castle , when choppy it doesnt get close enough, when is smooth and proper timed bombs get to where they need to go no problem, whe i have another shot if i wait about ten seconds it goes smooth till i fire the gets a bit choppy then gets real choppy when it "impacts and then all physics computong really goes hard gets slow . is it my computer or video card 2 monitors , mixed and matched monitors to differnt cards (of the 2) on eis a voodoo 2 16 meg other is onboard dell 2400 dimen. minor differences but pretty much equal on that game.

6/21/2015 11:50:42 PM Hello. I'm mostly unsatisfied due to it's age. However, it's lasted this long through several relocations and is still useable thanks to all the care I've tried to give it. It's been a good little PC after all. I did, however, only start freezing (no BSOD) yesterday. I've been installing a few things that I've installed on previous re-formats with no issue. That said, I tried reverting this PC in light of that as much as possible. Also, my wireless connection is insanely slow even though I'm a matter of feet from my router and nobody else in my household has this latency problem.
