The batteries can overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The affected battery packs were distributed worldwide in certain notebook PCs within the following models:&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pcmatic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/hpbattery.jpg\" alt=\"hpbattery\" width=\"385\" height=\"135\" class=\"attachment wp-att-8148 alignleft\" \/><\/p>\n<p><br clear=\"all\"\/><\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;Note: Not all HP notebook PCs listed below have an affected battery pack.
