This means they&#8217;ll stop providing technical support, as well as bug and security fixes for newly discovered issues and vulnerabilities. They&#8217;re encouraging anyone still using this version to update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally the end of service was supposed to happen in April, but to ease stress to businesses during the pandemic it was postponed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;[W]e have delayed the scheduled end of support and servicing dates for the following products to help people and organizations focus their attention on retaining business continuity,&#8221; Microsoft\u00a0stated\u00a0at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Updating<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking to update to Windows 10 20H2, you&#8217;ll need to update to Windows 10 1903 first. 20H2 is the October 20th, 2020 release. However, it&#8217;s not as simple as just installing the updates.
