You&#8217;ve come to the right place! Depending on your initial purchase, PC Matic can be installed on at least 5 devices under your one account! All we have to do is download it on the new device, and login with our existing account details! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lets get started. This is most likely the password you use to login to your Mac on a daily basis.<\/li><li>Navigate to where you downloaded and\/or saved the .dmg installer file.<\/li><li>Double click the InstallPCMatic.dmg file to begin the install process.<\/li><li>Once you double click the InstallPCMatic.dmg file it will open a new window called PCMatic with two files inside&nbsp;<strong>*View&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcmatic.com\/add-device\/images\/pcmatic-pkg.png\">Screenshot<\/a>*<\/strong>:<ul><li>PC Matic.pkg &#8211; This is our main installer file and what we\u2019ll use to put PC Matic in place.<\/li><li>Uninstall PC Matic.tool &#8211; This is the uninstall file and can be saved somewhere on your computer for future use or the .dmg file can be re-downloaded to access it.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Right-click<\/strong>&nbsp;the PC Matic.pkg file and click Open to continue with the install.<\/li><li>Click Open again, click Continue, and then click Install.<\/li><li>Type in your administrator password and click Install Software.&nbsp;<strong>*View&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcmatic.com\/add-device\/images\/admin_passwordDialog.png\">Screenshot<\/a>*<\/strong><\/li><li>Before completion, your Mac may prompt you to allow our system extension. The system extension is critical for antivirus products and must be allowed for PC Matic to protect your device. Click Open Security Preferences in the prompt. (If you don\u2019t see this prompt, skip to step 12)&nbsp;<strong>*View&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcmatic.com\/add-device\/images\/allowExtension.png\">Screenshot<\/a>*<\/strong><\/li><li>In the Security and Privacy window at the bottom you will see \u201cSystem Software from Developer \u201cPC Pitstop LLC\u201d was blocked from loading\u201d. Click the allow button.&nbsp;<strong>*View&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcmatic.com\/add-device\/images\/security_privacy.png\">Screenshot<\/a>*<\/strong><\/li><li>After you click allow, the option will disappear and you can close the Security and Privacy window.<\/li><li>Once completed, click Close.<\/li><li>You should now see our PC Matic Mac icon appear in the Status Bar at the top of your desktop.
