Within the last week, six different medical facilities confirmed suffering from recent ransomware attacks. Now another attack has been made public and minimal details are being shared. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Marin Community Clinics headquartered in Novato, California recently confirmed they have fallen victim to a ransomware attack. The exact ransomware variant has not been confirmed. However, clinic officials did report <\/a>they paid an undisclosed ransom demand in hopes to restore their networks faster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The attack occurred on June 19, 2019. As of today, their networks are still down while they attempt to restore patient files.
