Over the weekend the Butler County office, located in El Dorado Kansas, with hit a ransomware attack. \u00a0The variant has not been disclosed, nor has the ransom demand. \u00a0Although the county offices remain open, their computers remain inaccessible due to their systems being encrypted with ransomware. \u00a0Butler County is doing everything they can to meet the needs of its citizens; however, everything is being done via paper and pen.<\/p>\n
