user account, you can allow limited access to your computer without fear of your personal data being erased.\u00a0 For some, it may be best to create multiple users, depending on who is using your PC.\u00a0 For example, a specific user account\u00a0for\u00a0each child.\u00a0 To create another user account\u00a0for your computer, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n<h4>Add New\u00a0Users to PC<\/h4>\n<p>First access the Control Panel by going to the Start menu, accessing &#8220;All Programs&#8221; and finding\u00a0&#8220;Control Panel&#8221;.\u00a0 You could also type &#8220;Control Panel&#8221; into the search bar by the Start menu.\u00a0 Once you access the Control Panel, you will need to click on &#8220;Change account type&#8221; account to be shared, you will want to use a phone number or email address that everyone knows but\u00a0is not tied to any pertinent accounts (ex: online banking accounts, shopping accounts, etc.).\u00a0 Upon clicking &#8220;Next&#8221;, you will see this screen:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-56380\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pcmatic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/completed-new-user.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"608\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pcmatic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/completed-new-user.png 960w, https:\/\/www.pcmatic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/completed-new-user-768x486.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click &#8220;Finish&#8221;
