Besides, you&#8217;re doing it already, almost every day.<\/p>\n<p>I responded to a question a couple of days ago regarding Windows 8 that ended with \u201cWhy did Microsoft do this, when everybody wanted the familiar old XP style?\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>My response included a pointer to my \u201cWhy ask why?\u201d article, as well as pointing out that, no, \u201ceverybody\u201d didn\u2019t want the familiar old XP style. In fact many people have come to actually prefer the Windows 8 interface once they\u2019d gotten used to it.<\/p>\n<p>The response? \u201cThe User should never have to get used to it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That got me to thinking.
