Before you consider downgrading from Windows 8 to Windows 7, consider this alternative.–PC Pitstop<\/i><\/font>.<\/i><\/font><\/p>\n


\nI have a laptop with Windows 8.1 and I want to downgrade it to Windows 7 but unfortunately, to go about this seems very confusing. Can you assist me or provide me with the steps to go about doing the downgrade? In addition, can you let me know if there are any setbacks that I\u2019ll face if in fact I do perform this downgrade successfully?<\/em><\/p>\n

Downgrading is a pretty simple process. It\u2019s not easy, but it is simple.<\/p>\n

Downgrading isn’t as easy as you might think. Simple, perhaps, but not even close to easy. So let’s look at an alternative.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m going to start by trying to talk you out of doing it at all. In my mind, there is almost never a reason to downgrade from Windows 8 or 8.1 to Windows 7. But knowing that sometimes there simply are, I\u2019ll tell you how.<\/p>\n
