Bogus versions of FileZilla are at risk.<\/p>\n<p>Do a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=filezilla&#038;ie=utf-8&#038;oe=utf-8&#038;aq=t&#038;rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&#038;client=firefox-a&#038;gfe_rd=cr&#038;ei=xRToUuJ0pYLxB5f2gPgP\" target=\"_blank\">simple search<\/a> on Google for FileZilla, and you&#8217;ll find several sites with downloads for the program. Open-source software, by definition, is freely redistributable, so having FileZilla available from multiple locations is not a surprise or anything new.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;The larger question here is whether the same type of issue could potentially exist with other open-source software.
