After 7 years, we hoped computer and battery OEMs would have taken dramatic steps to minimize these risks. However, our concerns were reignited by news of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcmatic.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/02\/fire-hazard-forces-best-buy-to-recall-laptop-batteries\/\" target=\"_blank\">recent large battery recall at Best Buy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So, we once again turned to our friends at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.d2worldwide.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">D2 Worldwide<\/a> to investigate and address the
