You know, enough so they could get the tools that would make them enjoy their jobs more than with the standard IT-issued one-size-fits-all notebook and suite of productivity apps. Accepting that stipend would be conditional that they figure out how to keep them running without a help desk and how to connect to the company&#8217;s data assets.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s an interesting idea and almost what I thought Google CIO Ben Fried suggested in his Interop keynote speech in New York last Wedneday. <\/p>\n<p><embed
