If you share pictures on the Internet you may want to remove certain information stored in the images to protect your personally identifiable information.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few free software solutions to view, edit and remove EXIF data.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.metabilitysoftware.com\/products\/filemind-quickfix.html\" target=\"_blank\">Metability Software FileMind QuickFix<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/download\/details.aspx?id=13518\" target=\"_blank\">Microsoft Pro Photo Tools<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Microsoft Windows users also have the ability to view, edit and remove EXIF data without using any additional software.<\/p>\n<p>Just right click on an Image and choose &#8220;Properties&#8221;.<br \/>\nNext select the &#8220;Options&#8221; tab.<\/p>\n<p>From there you can manually view, edit and remove EXIF data.<\/p>\n<p>Optionally, in Windows, you can click the &#8220;Remove Properties and Personal Information&#8221; option.<br \/>\nA &#8220;Remove Properties&#8221; window will pop up.<\/p>\n<p>You then have the options to:<br \/>\n&#8211; &#8220;Create a copy with all possible properties removed&#8221;<br \/>\nor<br \/>\n&#8211; &#8220;Remove the following properties from this file&#8221; that gives you multiple options of what EXIF data you want to keep or remove from the image.<br \/>\nMake your selections and click &#8220;OK&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Note: You can also use the right click option on other documents and files to view, edit and remove personal data you may not want to share with others. <\/p>\n<p><font
