Today the customer preview was released to the general public and you can test it out by visiting the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/office\/preview\/en\" target=\"_blank\">Office Customer Preview site<\/a>. You will need a free Microsoft account if you don\u2019t already have one.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest change users will notice is the updated interface that is less \u201cflashy\u201d than those of the past and more akin to the \u201cflat\u201d style used in Microsoft\u2019s Windows 8. The other big news it Office 2013\u2032s ability to accept touch input. In fact, Windows 8 on ARM platforms will ship with Word 2013, Excel 2013, PowerPoint 2013, and OneNote 2013. All Office 2013 applications also have the ability to go full screen by hiding the ribbon interface, which will be a boon for tablet users with touch screens.<\/p>\n<p>Of note is all Office 2013 applications will be desktop applications in Windows 8. This means they will not operate within the new Windows 8 Metro Start Menu, but within the Windows 8 desktop environment.<\/p>\n<p>Details about Changes in Office 2013 <a
