When you choose this, you are presented with a dialog box that shows many different ways you can insert the date. The first option in the list of sample date formats always reflects how you have set the Short Date Style in your regional settings. If you want to change this date format, you must do so in Windows. The general steps are as follows, although they may differ slightly based on the version of Windows you are using:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Choose Settings from the Start menu.<br \/>\n<strong>2.<\/strong> Choose Control Panel.<br \/>\n<strong>3.<\/strong> Double-click on the Regional Settings applet.
