The post was aptly entitled &#8220;As business goes social, CIOs sit on sidelines.&#8221; Indeed, socially-sidelined CIOs would seem to confirm our poll from a few weeks ago asking if CIOs are reserved or engaging. &#8220;Analytical and reserved&#8221; edged out &#8220;outgoing and engaging&#8221; 52% to 48% in the 62 votes cast. You can still vote, by the way.<\/p>\n<p>Gillin&#8217;s post is a cautionary tale and can be summed with the line:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Most CIOs are taking an attitude of, at best, benign neglect toward
