Bargain Hunting<\/b><\/p>\n

You have a cheapskate gene, one that yearns for a
\nwholesale price? I do and can’t bear to pay more for
\nsomething if I can find the exact same thing for less
\nmoney.<\/p>\n

That’s this week’s main topic: The sites I regularly visit
\nwith daily bargain-priced products, those with coupon
\ncodes for discounts or free shipping, and the tools to
\nmake bargain hunting easier.<\/p>\n

Take a Camel Shopping<\/b><\/p>\n

Little known fact: Prices on Amazon — as well as
\nelectronics distributors BestBuy and Newegg — fluctuate.
\nLike corn and hog bellies, Amazon sees its products as
\ncommodities and sometimes you’ll see a 5- to 44-percent
\nprice drop.<\/p>\n

So high on my list of valuable shopping services is
\ncamelcamelcame [http:\/\/www.camelcamelcamel.com\/<\/a>]l. Give it
\nthe items you’re looking for on Amazon and it’ll notify
\nyou by e-mail (or RSS) when a price dives below its
\ncurrent level. For instance, Camel spotted an infrared
\nthermometer
\n[http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0017L9Q9C\/?tag=pibmug-20<\/a>] that
\nplummeted from $80 to $45. (Too bad I don’t need one.)<\/p>\n

And if you have an Amazon wish list, Camel will import and
\ntrack it. You don’t even need to register. Check here for

\nstore trackers, for such sites as Newegg, BestBuy, and
