China Bans Windows 8 on Government PCs

It was coming, it was coming.

Now, where have I read the words ban and China in one sentence before?

The government in the country has banned the usage of Windows 8 on government computers, in a move that might have a lot of say in Microsoft’s efforts to boost sales of its products (hardware and software) in China.

And although the Central Government Procurement Center has not actually provided an official reason for this decision, but it mentions that the ban is part of its efforts to conserve energy.
